📖 سورۃ الفاتحہ – آیت 7
﴿صِرَاطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ﴾
اے اللہ! ہمیں ان لوگوں کے راستے پر چلا جن پر تو نے انعام کیا—نہ اُن کے جن پر غضب ہوا، نہ گمراہوں کے۔ ابن کثیرؒ کے مطابق: "مغضوب علیہم" یہود (علم تھا مگر عمل نہ کیا)، "ضالّین" نصاریٰ (عمل کیا مگر صحیح علم کے بغیر)۔ انعام یافتہ: انبیاء، صدیقین، شہداء، صالحین۔ (النساء 4:69؛ جامع ترمذی)
📖 Sūrah al-Fātiḥah – Verse 7
﴿صِرَاطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ﴾
Guide us to the path of those upon whom You bestowed favor—not the path of those who incurred wrath nor those who went astray. Ibn Kathīr cites the ḥadīth: the “wrath” refers to the Jews (knowledge without action) and the “astray” to the Christians (action without sound knowledge). The favored are the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous. (al-Nisā’ 4:69; Jāmi‘ al-Tirmidhī)
