📖 سورۃ البقرہ – آیت 7
﴿خَتَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَعَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِمْ ۖ وَعَلَىٰٓ أَبْصَـٰرِهِمْ غِشَـٰوَةٌۭ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌۭ﴾
اللہ نے اُن کے دلوں اور کانوں پر مہر کردی، اور اُن کی آنکھوں پر پردہ ہے؛ ان کے لیے بڑا عذاب ہے۔ ابن کثیرؒ: یہ انکار پر اصرار کا نتیجہ ہے؛ سزا بطورِ عدل ہے—جب حق رد کیا جائے تو دل حق قبول نہیں کرتا۔ (تفسیر ابن کثیر)
📖 Sūrah al-Baqarah – Verse 7
﴿خَتَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ ...﴾
Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and hearing; over their eyes is a covering; for them is a great punishment. Ibn Kathīr: this sealing is a just recompense for obstinate rejection—when truth is persistently denied, the heart ceases to receive guidance. (Tafsīr Ibn Kathīr)
